International Glass Art Symposium GlassJazz'18
September 12 - 18, 2018
Glass as a material is unique, it can be improvised just like jazz. Improvising in the medium you can get indescribable forms. Jazz music is like a meditation which stimulates artists to liberate themselves, to dive into creative thought, to experiment and look for unexpected forms.
The first International Glass Art Symposium GlassJazz was organized in 2014 and is held every two years in Panevezys, Lithuania. It is the only place in Europe, and perhaps all of World, where artistic glass meets others forms of art like jazz music, photography, literature etc. This year Remigijus Kriukas, the owner of glass art studio Glasremis together with Panevezys Civic Art Gallery organise this event for the 3'rd time.

Solo exhibition "Desert Wind" at Lithuanian Artist Council gallery "ARKA".
October 17 – November 07, 2019
Glass is a versatile, multifaceted matter containing a mysterious, additional dimension – transparency, optics; it enchants and attracts with an illusion, telling more than it is possible to say in words. This exceptionally specific area with a lot of technological features – not to mention the fact that glass is a particularly delicate matter – joins and unites the two creators but also differentiates them as they both have a different, distinctive style, a unique creative experience and speak different ways in the creative language.
